Should the header area lose its consistency with the title bar when a context menu is invoked?

When I invoke a context menu on the window decorations,

becomes

This has occurred on every installation and version of KDE Plasma that I’ve utilised.

isn’t that just the difference between unfocused vs focused?

@skyfishgoo, it’s those states combined:

  1. Unfocused

  2. Focused

  3. Focused, With A Context Menu Active On The Window Decorations

Don’t you think it looks strange?

Depends on the color scheme. And no. There are a looooot of things I find far more strange.

Entire universe switch when invoking a context menu. Boom. Schrodinger’s cat, double slit experiment, a non-dual multiverse loop and vedanta’s on a roll. In other words…no change. :rofl:

it looks to me like focused and unfocused look the same on your screen, whereas they look like the 1st and 3rd image on mine… regardless of whether i have opened a context menu or not.

i can open the context menu on an unfocused window and it looks like the 1st image

i can open the context menu on a focused window and it looks like the 3rd image

but i’m on plasma 5 LTS with X11 so i’m way behind on the latest bugs :slight_smile:
