I’m currently trying to migrate from Moneyplex to Skrooge. I was able to import all my transactions and categories using QIF format. Now I’m trying to perform the bank transfers using AQbanking. Unfortunately, there’s very limited information available on this topic. I have AQbanking installed in the following versions: Versions: AqBanking-CLI: 6.7.9, Gwenhywfar: 5.12.0.0, AqBanking: 6.7.9.0
The attempt to import the transactions using AQbanking failed. No transactions were imported. I’m using Skrooge 25.4.0 on Debian Linux 13 Trixie. I’ve selected and configured the AQbanking backend in the settings. Bank accounts are set up in AQbanking and work in kmymoney. I was also able to assign the accounts to the AQbanking settings there. The script skrooge-sabb.py didn’t provide any further information on how to configure or assign bank access. I currently have three German banks that I want to access via online transfers.
Where can I find more information on how to configure online access in Skrooge? Which functions are supported?
thanks for the good hint. My problem is that skrooge receives no transfers. I do not know why. I do not know how to configure skrooge with online banking, aqbanking tool. There is no documentation about that topic. I do not know what i can do.
hello, thanks again for your help. i am getting some transactions for some bank accounts. but not all transactions. sparkasse require optical veryfication of pin. this works in kmymoney but not in skrooge. some transactions do not have the right signs in description, “ä”, “ö”, “ü” and “ß” seems to be transferred wrong. maybe because of utf-8 coding in the skrooge-sabb.py script. Do you know the right coding for geman banks? maybe iso-8859-1?
the entry “(-terminal-emulator “konsole…)” i do not need in linux debian operating system. the terminal appears automatically.
I can’t say anything about that; I have no experience with optical PIN verification.
I use the SecureGo app with my banks, but I don’t need it for account access.
Although… about a year ago, I also had to enable account access with one bank, and that worked with Skrooge too.
Nevertheless… the “skrooge-sabb.py” file has enormous potential for improvement.
I hope the author is reading this.
I can’t say anything about your “ä”, “ö”, “ü”, and “ß” problem either, as I haven’t noticed any issues with either bank.
I’ll try to keep an eye on it.
Hello, I haven’t made any progress with this. I’ve now set up pushTAN access for the problematic bank, Sparkasse. Optical TAN is no longer being used. I thought that might be the problem. Unfortunately, I was wrong; the access still doesn’t work. Therefore, I probably won’t continue working with Skrooge. The skrooge-sabb.py script is quite old. A lot has changed with bank access in recent years. Unfortunately, the author doesn’t seem to be participating in our discussion. All my bank access works with other Linux programs, KmyMoney, GnuCash, etc. So AQbanking is working as it should. I suspect the sabb.py script needs to be updated accordingly. Unfortunately, I don’t feel capable of doing that myself. Perhaps I’ll ask the AQbanking programmers if they have any tips for me. regards, Harald.
