Sort of an edge case; if you attempt to import a kmy file into Skrooge and over the years you’ve bought options in the same company more than once over the years, Skrooge will give you a “DUPLICATE” error as it attempts to create the security twice.
This is because KMyMoney creates a new entry for each option transaction with the same symbol.
The solution is to extract the kmy file as XML, find the duplicates and rename one of them (for example “AMD” and “AMD 2”.
However, this could be solved in Skrooge if it recognizes the issue.
Sure, but if you are able to create a fake kmy file with minimum data to reproduce the issue, I could fix it.
I don’t know what to do to reproduce this issue.
What is exactly the “DUPLICATE” issue ? Is it an error message ? A crash ? Do you have a screenn capture (this could help too) ?
