[SOLVED] Pomodore app changed my plasma

Hello,

Yesterday I installed the pomodore app from this website https://gnomepomodoro.org and now my desktop is completely different :frowning: . At some point it asked me if I wanted to use gdm or sddm and I accidentally confirmed the gdm option.

Is there any way to “rollback” the changes made by this app?

My Plasma looks like this now:

Sorry if I said something that does not make sense, I am not an expert Linux user :frowning:

Thanks in advance for your help!

Ok, I was able to fix it by running the following command:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure sddm

Now my desktop is back as how it was before:

Thank you

Sounds like the app is packaged incorrectly on your distro. I would report this to the packagers of that distro.

This problem is a good advertisement for Flatpak, Snap, and AppImage.
