i switched from windows to debian 12 and i have no more sound on my computer

Hi - typically, the function of basic hardware devices like sound cards will rely on the underlying operating system - things like the Linux kernel itself, and any additional modules/drivers that are distributed along with it.
KDE software generally sits on top of that, providing a graphical desktop environment and applications, but problems with basic hardware function would likely be best served by asking others who are using your same Linux distribution.
