[suggestion] create a way to make panels overhide each others, like layers

i created a unity layout in my plasma but there are 2 panels that to avoid them overhiding each other, i needed to decrease the size of one of them, and that’s way to solve it could be better.

Interesting idea, one panel always visible and a second smaller one over it set to autohide. I am going to try that. Thanks.

So do you mean make panels have the ability to stop at the edge of another panel, rather than at the edge of the screen? Overhiding is a confusing word for me

sorry, with overhiding i mean when a panel that stands over an other, like layers. but your idea is good too - maybe better i think!
