KDE Linux are working on their own Distro which is currently in Alpha stage.
There are multiple KDE staff on this Site and it would be good if KDE Linux can have its own TAG on the LHS Main Forum Page.
Reason(s):
-
KDE Linux keeps getting confused by others as the DE instead of a full blown Distro.
-
A Place where we can report how our current installations are going.
-
A Place to discuss how to improve it regarding included Software choices and extras that should/might be added.
-
For the developers to create a sticky instruction where and how to log bugs/suggestions for improvements…etc. Bug report instructions should include an example.
How about it? Any thoughts?

There is already a tag here for it. Its visibility on the main page seems to depend on how often it is used.
(what is LHS, or am I being dense again?)
I think maybe waiting for it to be out of alpha and in an actual beta stage might be more appropriate for more visibility, which would greatly increase the tag usage.
There already is a wiki/website for most everything else. I am sure more contributions to this, submitting content for adding examples and the like probably would be appreciated.

LHS = Left Hand Side The area on the left that has “Topics”, “Categories”, “TAGS”.
Alpha Stage: That is one solid alpha stage. I have seen far more unstable Beta stages then this.
kde-linux: Found it but only after you pointed it out. I have added it to my tags. That’s kind of the point..having to search for it, assuming you know it exists.
Anyway, I go and have a look around in kde-linux here and see what others are saying/reporting…ta
Yup, I suffer from density
Alpha is acccurate, even if does not break. The internals and structures of how it is built and set up are not locked down, and still subject to being changed, even radically.
