The “Available Networks” list in System Settings is currently sorted by type and then alphabetically, which in dense Wi-Fi environments pushes relevant VPN connections far down the list.
A more useful default ordering would be:
- Currently connected
- Available, known Wi-Fi and other configured connections (e.g. VPNs)
- Yet-unused Wi-Fi networks
This would reduce scrolling and surface the connections users actually care about.
Presently, known wifi networks float to the top, but not known VPN connections.
