System Settings Will Not Remember Its Maximized State

Hello KDE Community,

I am having an issue with System Settings not remembering its maximized state after closing it and reopening it.

Is this a bug or maybe a mis-configured setting or file on my part?

Is there a fix for this planned / already done? If so, any idea what Plasma version it might be included in?

My system info:

Arch Linux (Kernel 6.10.6-arch1-1 (64-bit)) - (The system is fully up to date)

KDE Plasma 6.1.4
KDE Frameworks 6.5.0
KDE Gear 24.05.2

Qt 6.7.2

Graphics Platform: Wayland

Special Notes:

  1. I know this behavior started after Plasma 6.0 was released. (I am not sure of a more precise Plasma version when it started unfortunately.)

  2. I have reinstalled Arch Linux twice in the last 6 months and I have this behavior right after a fresh installation. (I do not believe it is a mis-configured setting or file on my part since this happens right after a fresh installation. I do believe this to be a bug, however I am not sure where exactly the bug/blame is to be placed. I am not 100% sure though either way.)

This is something that has bugged me as well and it looks like it is indeed a bug.
