Allow users to associate emblems with windows or task entries. It could be helpful to made many task entries of the same app different. For example, I set rules for PIP windows of Firefox and add monitor emblem to it.

you can easily change the icon of any app in the menu / task manager by simply editing the application menu using the KDE menu editor.
however you can only assign one icon to a given application… you can create separate launchers to run scripts (each with their own icon), but as soon as the script launches the application, the icon in the task manager will change to that application’s icon in my experience.
there are ways around this too, but i’m not fully versed in them.
