I noticed on the Tellico website that Tellico looks “different” than it does on my computer.
There, the layout is column view on the left and entry view on the right (see image 1).
I’ve been looking for a way to change the left/right layout, but I haven’t found anything.
How can I change this?
Or is this perhaps an “old” format that’s no longer available?
I would really like to change it, as half the screen is usually empty in the entry view.
Admittedly not well-documented - select Settings → Unlock Layout, then drag the list view along side the entry view. Once done, you can select Lock Layout to avoid dragging things accidentally. If the widgets get messed up, choosing Reset Layout will let you start over.
That info to set view is terrific. Wish I had been aware of that sooner.
Is there any way to change the default sort of views from ascending to descending? I keep my view by ID and would like to make it descending so that newest entries appear first.
Thanks Robby, that works perfectly and I like it better.
However, as I see it, this setting then applies globally to all collections in the current system (tellicorc).
Would it perhaps be possible to set this up differently for each collection?
I currently have 5 different collections, and the “default” setting would be the better choice for one or another of them.
Thanks for the reply. I was aware of that option to click on heading but the section I want to reverse the sort on is the middle section in this view (where the album covers show):
Just figured it out. Change the collection view to text by clicking on the top icon, select the desired sort field to display and click on that heading to change the sort, then revert to the cover display view. Collection is then reverse sorted by desired field.
