G’day people, I recently installed arch with KDE and when freshly installing everything worked as it should. after a day or so of working on my system I have encountered a bug that makes some text in some application display as boxes like the font is missing even though the deafault fonts are installed and recognised by KDE plasmas font manager in quick settings.
Problem can be recreated after restarting
Problem can not be recreated when logging into different user account
Any ideas?
Hi! Just a couple of ideas of directions to look:
- Are the applications that aren’t rendering fonts correctly installed as distribution packages, or as Flatpaks?
- What are some application and font combinations that are working, and some ones that aren’t?
