I used to be able to connect to Proton VPN on KDE just fine. But after I rebooted my computer, when I ran Proton VPN I would get a pop-up for this access prompt twice in a row. I’ve only migrated to Kubuntu yesterday, so I remember what passwords I set for KDE Wallet and my log in, but neither of them work for this prompt. When I Dismiss it, I can go back to logging into Proton, but when I enter my credentials and submit it, I get prompted for access again; and for some reason these pop-ups keep launching one after another. So I feel like something is bugged out here?.. But the actual issue is that when I can’t provide the keyring it’s prompting me to, Proton VPN either gets stuck on the ‘Signing in…’ page or gives an error.
I don’t know if this pop-up is coming from KDE Wallet, but when I try disabling it from the settings, I get a ‘Permission Denied.’ pop-up. Would disabling it solve my issue, and if so, how can I grant myself the permission to do so? Thanks.
