The `Primary` radio button of the Display Configuration should be a `Check box`

If you have two displays in the system, the Display Configuration has UI Primary to mark the primary display among them.

I think it should be a check box rather than a radio button.

Or are there any reasons it should be a radio button?

Radio button does read odd on its own on the one screen, but it’s necessary because only one item can be selected as the primary device, it’s just that the split of radio buttons isn’t visible all at once.

Thank you for your reply.

I see what you say. But I personally feel it is not intuitive to users. And I hope the GUI is intuitive. Checkbox is appropriate.

Anyway, I understand this is a design choice by KDE.

Thanks.

It becomes even more strange with three or more monitors, where you have a button instead that can be overseen quickly. Clicking the button opens a modal where you can sort the monitors. While I disagree that it should be a checkbox (for the reasons bunnikyuube told), I agree that this part of the UI could be more consistent and more clear in general.
