Currently the touchpad setting “Disable while typing” is generally useful when it comes to writing stuff on a laptop. The problem begins, when you have an activity like games (even the setting description states “This can interfere with video games”). Since KDE can detect to some extent whether a game is is currently running.

The adaptive setting would just make the touchpad’s “Disable while typing” not block touchpad whenever an application like a game or any other applicable type of application is being run or in focus.

Maybe just a small quirk, but honestly it feels like it would be a great feature.
