file transfer from my CachyOS with KDE Plasma to my android phone works like a charm, but after a while the transferred files disappear on my phone. files are video and audio files. after transfer I relocate the audio files in the audio folder and the video files to the video folder. this time the file holded about a day, now their gone… again. loosing my mind…
But… You don’t have Plasma on your phone and they disappear… from your phone. Wouldn’t this be an Android issue?
For the sake of an argument, how are you transferring your files over to your phone? Explain the step-by-step process you are using.

- … drag and drop the files on the widget in the tray?
- … right click on the files in Dolphin and then choose “share” to send them to the device?
- … open your phone’s storage en Dolphin and then drag and drop them from your computer’s storage?
I want to try and do what you do see if I have the same result.
It would also be useful to know what distro you are using, and what version of Plasma and KDE Connect.
I have also 3 different phones paired with kde connect. not sure if that can cause problems.
