After Kde 6.6.2 update, every time I’ve tried to launch an “open file” or “save” windows in a program other than qt programs, I’ve had the message:
Unable to create a kio worker. Impossible to create a socket to kio worker for the item “tags” (not totally sure it was the exact words used; already solved the immediate problem and forgot to copy the message error).
Searching i’ve found a post here with a similar problem (on LibreOffice) (KIO: Unable to create KIO worker), where it was told it was apparmor to create some kind of problem.
I’ve tried to disable apparmor thought systemctl, but didn’t work; uninstalling worked.
Now, until kde plasma 6.6.1 there were no problems, even with apparmor installed.
I tried to find on bugs.kde.org, but there were no other problems. Sadly, after removing apparmor, i cannot replicate the bug. I can reinstall it and see if it will happen another time, but, it’s worth it?
Has any other had the same problem? Before reinstalling apparmor to replicate the bug, collect the data and open a bug report, i wan to be reasonable sure is not something tied to my specific configuration.
Thanks
