Got some consistent problems in generating proxy clips when working with videos created with the DJI Osmo Action 6. The weird fact is that it generates one and then starts failing. No idea what’s going on.

The error is currently the following:

```auto
Unrecognized option 'vsync'.
Error splitting the argument list: Option not found
```

the current output of vainfo is the following

```auto
$ vainfo
Trying display: wayland
vainfo: VA-API version: 1.24 (libva 2.24.0)
vainfo: Driver version: Mesa Gallium driver 26.1.7-arch1.1 for AMD Radeon 780M Graphics (radeonsi, phoenix, ACO, DRM 3.64, 7.1.8-arch1-3)
```

Any idea? I’m pretty stumped right now.

This will be fixed in 26.08 (you may also want to try the daily/nightly builds as the fix has already been merged).

The reason is that `-vsync` is a deprecated ffmpeg parameter replaced by `-fps_mode`.

Seems that 26.08.0 doesn’t contain the fix, I still get error when trying to transcode x265 video using “Lossy x264 I frame only (Nvidia GPU)”

Yeah, sorry, didn’t make it into 26.08.0 but will definitely be included in the next maintenance release.

You can fix it temporarily by locating `encodingprofiles.rc` and editing it in the text editor of your choice. Replace all occurrences of `-vsync 1` with `fps_mode cfr`.

Do the same for `kdenlivetranscodingrc` (note the missing dot before `rc`!) and replace `-vsync 0` with `-fps_mode passthrough`.

There is one more change needed but that is in the source code and only affects silence removal.
