Since today the default keyring cannot be opened with KwalletManager anymore. Anytime I try to open it it instantly closes again and in journalctl -f the error kwalletd6[3642]: QObject::killTimer(): Error: timer id ... is not valid for object ... (KWalletD, ), timer has not been killed appears at least a 30+ times per second until I kill the kwalletd6 process
If the close after a certain time setting is deactivated I can normally open the keyring.
Can someone help with this?
Seeing the same thing on fedora 44 plasmashell 6.7.4.
It seems like kwalletquery is able to get things from the wallet and seems like an UI issue. I did however experience that git and the kwalletd was running at 100% cpu… Restarted and now that is “fixed” but the log is spammed like crazy.

That does work, but then the setting itself is broken and should be fixed I think
Can confirm that it works, but that is too bad this is the state of it. Considering to make some investigations into fixing this do you know if there exists something more official to track this issue that would align with how KDE would take in contributions or where I could find if someone are working on this already?
