Been very quiet on the KDE Neon web page. It appears the latest user version hasn’t been updated since the 20260903-0454 version. Been almost a month since I’ve seen any activity . Are they working on a rebase to 26.04? Latest blog on KDE Neon is from Oct 6 2025.
Debating to download 20260903-0454 or wait for an updated user ISO.
Thanks
neon user isos have been quiet since that 20260903 build for me too. last couple LTS rebases landed around oct near ubuntu’s .1, and they havent kicked the 26.04 one yet.
id just grab 20260903 and pkcon update after install. waiting on a fresher iso usually just means sitting on the rebase.
In my opinion, KDE neon is currently a distribution that is effectively on life support (in a coma). It really saddens me to see a distribution I love using in such a state
