Virtual Desktop Switch Gesture and Universal Emacs/Mac Shortcuts

I’d like to change the three-finger gesture which can be used to switch virtual desktops to four fingers, but can’t find any settings in KDE for this. Is this a Wayland/X thing?

I’ve seen suggestions to install things like Fusuma, but since I’ve been away from Linux for a long time, want to know what the “right way” is before going down rabbit-holes

Unrelated, but possibly touches on the same thing: I’d like to set universal shortcuts to be Emacs/Mac-like. For example ctrl+a goes to the beginning of the line rather than selecting all text. Setting each shortcut individually in System Settings seems … sub-optimal, and doesn’t seem to effect applications like Firefox anyway.

Hi! Not sure about keyboard shortcuts, but related to gestures - the request in the KDE Bugtracking System for that feature is 402857 – Touchpad and touchscreen gestures should be configurable , and there’s quite a bit of (funded!) work ongoing on this front:

Ah nice! Then I’ll wait for this, as it’s not that big of a deal day-to-day.

Sure would be nice to have an “emacs-mode” for shortcuts though  I remember way back when I used to use Gnome (and maybe it was even in KDE which I used before that) there was such a thing. Looks like both DEs have moved away from that kind of thing though.
