Wallpaper slideshow ignores network mounts

I have Wallpaper type set to Slideshow, and two Folders: one local, one a network mounted drive. This works fine until reboot; after that it only loads pictures from the local drive (or the default image, if I remove that Folder).

So after each reboot, I tweak the Wallpaper settings (e.g. change the rotation by 1 second). That makes it pick up the network folder, and all is well until the next reboot.

Presumably, Plasma checks for images in specified folders on startup, before the network drive is mounted. Then never checks again.

Is this a bug I should report, or just a fact of life I should live with? If the latter, is there a workaround to automate the “check again”?
