Is anyone else having issues with the weather widget and the weather report in system tray?
When i search for any Canadian city, I only get options for NOAA and BBC, and of which NOAA options don’t work and Environment Canada is no longer an option.
Was Environment Canada removed, or is the issue on their end, or is this a Plasma bug?

Nope. Works fine for my locale with BBC.
I just tried searching for Vancouver, of which NOAA and BBC were the only options, and while I can add Vancouver, BBC works, while NOAA doesn’t work.
It hasn’t been removed since I can obviously add a Canadian city. It might be a case that if you live somewhere more remote you need to go by the nearest big population area. But NOAA is definitely bugged.
Sorry I was not clear, BBC works, NOAA does not.
Environment Canada is the provider I was using for years. Now it’s not listed, I tried several cities. And no I’m not in a remote area.

I have to assume that while it is reported as being fixed, it has not actually made it into any updates yet. Does anybody have any idea when this will occur?
It’ll be in Plasma 6.3.6:
We are on Plasma 6.4.1 and it is NOT fixed.
Currently it’s still failing.
Edit: Looks like this commit fixed it, announced in the 6.4.1 - 6.4.2 update.
Even NOAA is now no longer present. Only get BBC.
Are you using Plasma 6.4.2? I am and Environment Canada is working for me now.
Fedora 42 with 6.4.1.
BBC works fine for me since I’m in the UK. But when I test Canadian locales, NOAA is an option but doesn’t work, BBC is an option and works. envcan doesn’t appear as an option.
6.4.2 was only released yesterday, so others will have to wait until their distro pushes it.
6.4.2 was finally pushed out for me (Neon) this morning and it finally fixed the problem.
