What is the latest version of Plasma?
I’m following a bug Joysticks are not detected in System Settings / Game Controller which has been reported as resolved.
I run openSUSE Tumbleweed which is supposed to be ‘bleeding edge’ and have just been upgraded from version 6.2.4 to 6.2.5 but I still don’t have a working joystick.
I need to find out if the bugfix is supposed to be in this version so that I can report the status if necessary
Your version despite being the ‘bleeding edge’ lastest released is not new enough, it clearly states in the bug report fixed in version 6.3 (Version Fixed In: 6.3.0) which is to be released next. You will have to wait until then to get the fix in your distributions packaging of it or compile it yourself and install to get it now.
Plasma 6.3 is supposed to be released in the middle of February.
