Where/Who to ask about a new Heaptrack release?

Heaptrack has not had a release since Sep 29, 2023 but has since then recieved quite a few changes, bug fixes etc.

Someone asked about a new release Apr 1, 2025 here: Is there a plan to release ver 1.6.0 (#6) · Issues · SDK / Heaptrack · GitLab which got a reply from who seems to be the maintainer May 7, 2025 that a release is being prepared, but since then 3 different people have asked for a release, without any reply, tho there has been activity by the maintainer up to 4 months ago.

As far as i understand KDE documentation, the “work items” (issues) on the gitlab are also not something that should be used.

Questions:
Knowing that, what should be the next step? Is there anyone else who could make a release? I assume thats not something anyone can contribute, but maybe i’m wrong? Is there a central release cycle which heaptrack could be added to?

Looking at the git history it’s this guy who is committing Script Kiddy · GitLab

Thats a bot, i don’t think that a bot can decide to cut a release…

Doh! That why the commits are not interesting…
