Why Lockscreen wallpaper not automatically synced to desktop?

Hello

Everytime I want to change wallpaper I need to manually:

  • change dekstop wallpaper
  • Change lockscreen wallpaper
  • change login screen wallpaper

I get login screen might be tricky since it requires root privilege, but whu lockscreen is not synced to dekstop?..

For which user? The login screen is independent of the user account, so it does not have a way to know which user account has control of this.

But having an option to sync the settings automatically for an account with admin privileges probably would be useful.

Also, not all of us want to have identical backgrounds on the login screen as on the desktop and/or lock screen. I don’t myself.
