I’m trying to modify this widget to add it to system tray for my personal use. I added "X-Plasma-NotificationAreaCategory": "SystemServices" to metadata.json, and now it is there in the system tray. If I use “Shown when relevant/Always shown” on panel, it works normally. However if I select the “Always hidden”, the button in the system tray pop up does nothing. Can someone please tell me what I can change to the widget code so it works with the hidden option, thanks.
