A couple of decades ago I used KDE as my main desktop. It had a window decoration called B2, if I remember correctly. The title bar would only stretch across the top of the window as far as the window name would require. It was fantastic to use, since layering windows of complex multi window applications was efficient. Only the truncated Title Bar needed to show, so windows could be easily layered on top of each other. KDE’s versatility with management would allow pinning windows exactly in the same spot when an application with multiple panels as separate windows would open up. I used it with a computational chemistry suite called Maestro from Schrodinger. This was around 2004-2007’ish I think on SuSE 9.x with KDE. I was just wondering if anything like this is available for KDE now?
