I have tried to set up a window rule to force a game into fullscreen on the correct monitor, and that much has been successful. However the rule keeps disappearing, as if something is deleting it.
I’ve found that if I log out first, the rule will survive the next boot. However if I forget and shutdown normally again, the rule once again gets deleted.
I’m running Gentoo and Plasma 6.1.5. Should I be making a bug report?
(Oh, potentially related question: Is it possible to get the web browser plasmoid to remember cookies and login session data? Is that potentially being deleted the same way? A permissions issue perhaps?)
Possibly related, I’ve just had my login script disappear from Autostart for some reason. Any ideas what could be causing this would be very much appreciated.
I set the position of GKrellM to -1+0 in Window Rules, set “Virtual Desktop => All Desktops,” and “Keep above other windows.” If I choose “Apply Initially” nothing happens when I “Apply” so I choose “Apply Now.” When I open Window Rules again, those settings are gone (but GKrellM is still set up how I want it to be). They’re also gone when I reboot. I haven’t tried logging out first.
Is it a bug or feature that Window Rules are not durable?
I am also using Gkrellm. Apply Initially is use when app is starting. I have this for All Desktops and Keep above... and works fine. On right from Keep above... is also Yes and No. I have mark with Yes. So I think like this is ok.
