I have an odd display issue. when I open some windows or when a program opens a modal window they appear to be scaled incorrectly large and then pop into the appropriate scaling. For modals it doesn’t happen until I move or grab the window. I’ve already set both my monitors (unlike in the attached movie) to the same scale which doesn’t do a thing. Any ideas?
That setting is in:
System Settings> Desktop Effects> Scale
It makes the windows scale into view, and shrink out of view when closed.
Turned scaling off and it’s the same. Note this is only an issue in Wayland, on X11 I’m not seeing it
Hi - it looks like you’re experiencing the issue reported in this KDE Bugtracking System issue: 483144 – [wayland] Opening some windows on a scaled display shows them distorted while they are loading
