Yakuake opens in the center of a screen instead from top (like before),

i see that changing windows behaviour>advanced>window placement affects how Yakuake opens the window - however I believe it shouldn’t ? Yakuake should open always from the top ?

but even changing that windows placement setting, doesn’t make Yakuake to behave like before (like in Plasma 6.3?)

So, you are using the kubuntu-backports PPA.

Have you logged out or restarted plasmashell since seeing this, or closed down Yakauke and restarted it?

I have seen this happen with Yakuake and/or desktop notifications before, usually after a Plasma related update or version upgrade, and haven’t done so, or after a plasmashell crash.

If a logout/reboot hasn’t fixed it, and you are fully updated, it may be a bug in this PPA. You can check if it is a system-wide issue or something more specific to your desktop configs by creating a new user account and seeing if it happens there as well.
