You can daisy chain remote input and it works. This is wild

So. KDE Connect has a remote input feature. It works. Its really cool. This got me thinking. Sure you can use one computer to remote control another, but can you then use that remote computer to remote control a second computer, and can that second computer control a third computer… and so on.

The answer is yes. Yes you can. And its amazing.

The Framework 13 is remote controlling the Framework 12, which is remote controlling the Chromebook, which is remote controlling my Desktop. A pretty big chain of remote input. Most of it over WiFi. Which is wild.

I feel like at some point this will break down, maybe I need to test it with more computers.

So, uh, now you know. Or maybe you already knew. Either way its pretty neat.

Interesting. Have you tested also a combo of PC→mobile→PC (or PC→mobile→mobile) or such?

I only have an iPhone and the KDE connect IOS app doesn’t seem to be able to connect to my desktops anymore. But that would be interesting to try.
