I’ve been using Linux for 18 years, but still only consider myself an “intermediate” user. I’m way beyond beginner, but nowhere close to being an expert. I started with Ubuntu 8.04 way back in the day, and eventually migrated to Mint. Then, once I discovered both Mint and Ubuntu were based on Debian, I started using Debian more frequently. I love the Cinnamon DE and use it primarily on all my machines (I have four Linux machines, two towers which I built myself, and two laptops). Recently I decided to try the KDE Plasma DE, so I joined this discussion group for some pointers.
