I am running KDE-Linux on my laptop which is an Dell XPS 15 9560.

My specs are:

Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (31.1 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 630

Fingerprint reader works perfectly

The NVIDIA 1050GT does not work because KDE-Linux does not distribute 3D drivers for legacy devices. Otherwise KDE-Linux is highly recommend.
