The Yapstocks plasmoid no longer works and no longer is maintained.
I used AI (ChatGPT) to modify the ‘Yahoo Finance Quotes’ Cinnamon desklet into a Plasmoid that works on KDE Plasma. I tested it in Arch, CachyOS and Fedora, and it seems to be working well. I do not see any glaring issues in the code, BUT, I am not a developer and my programming experience is limited. I would like to hand the code off to a developer familiar with QML to review the code, modify it if prudent, make a proper fork of Yahoo Finance Quotes in Github, and make it available as a Plasma widget.
