The suggestion is that accent colours have modes. The most basic being calculated as the same as the median colour scheme as currently implemented. Alternate would be a complement colour scheme is where each channel is 50% away from the complement. e.g. RGB of 25%/50%/65% becomes 75%/0%/15%.
