"Access denied" when copying file to AFC devices

After updating Dolphin/kio-extras on Fedora this week, I can no longer copy files onto iOS devices through Dolphin. It reports the following error,

Access denied.
Could not write to afc://00008112-0012653e36f9401e/@apps/com.goodnotesapp.x/Documents.

From what I can tell,

  • I have read access on all exposed files on iOS devices, as expected,
  • I cannot copy existing file into the iOS device,
  • I can use “paste clipboard content …” to create a new txt file on iOS device, and I can verify the text content is indeed correct from my iPad.

Does anyone have an idea what’s going wrong? Is there any way for me to debug what’s actually happening? Thanks!

I’ve had this same problem the last week. Not a whole lot to say but I do hope this will be solved.
