i wish i saw this earlier, i saw no update for it on fedora 40 and spent like an hour or 2 doing it myself 
Unfortunately I can’t make KDE Store account so I’ll write it the issue I found here.
In current version, setting the plasmoid to icon only doesn’t change anything. There is missing visibility setting for the percentage text in org.kde.plasma.catwalk/contents/ui/CompactRepresentation.qml. Adding visible: plasmoid.configuration.type !== 1 to PlasmaComponents3.Label solves the issue.
