This is going to sound extremely nitpicky but I would like the option to filter out runtimes when I’m scrolling through installed apps and deciding what to do. Currently there is no way to do this in discover and adding such a feature would be more user friendly, whilst I’m comfortable using the terminal sometimes I do go to discover and this is a bit cluttered, sorting by rating doesn’t help either as some runtimes and themes are higher rated than some of my flatpaks. Again, not a major thing, but a change I think should be made regardless.
Hi - I can definitely see how that would be helpful when browsing for specific deliberately-installed applications. It looks like there are already a couple of different wishlist bugs that have been submitted for Discover that kind of get after this idea: 423344 – Group items on "Installed" page by high-level categories and 462343 – Don't show runtimes in the UI
If you have additional ideas on how that could be implemented, those wishlist bugs may be the best places to add those ideas and make sure that they can be considered by developers who are working on Discover.
Hope that helps,
