I tried kmenuedit, which did create a .desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications, but the Apps menu was not update even after a reboot.
Where did you put it? If you didn’t specify what category it should be in, it’s probably in “other”.
That is where it went. I had added it to the Graphics heading, so I nether thought to look anywhere else. Thank you.
