When right clicking on the ‘Add Widgets’ option in the right click menu, the menu loads very slowly. So was not the case in Plasma version 5.27

My guess its probl. nvidia, wayland related.

Don’t use any NVIDIA products, so might be related to Wayland

hmmh, yeah it might.
But have you doubled checked on a live usb if it’s better? Could also be some half-b0rked upgrade.

hmh, if install and live usb image boot use the same distro, the same version of plasma6 and the same display server/protocol it looks a bit like clash caused by something else that changed in the upgrade…

I’m using Wayland, no such issue - I’d recommend troubleshooting in the Fedora forum.
If it’s working from the LIVE USB, then that’s where to go next.
