Three more apps added to the list of “Adoptable Apps”: Konsole, NeoChat, and Kate

Come and adopt an app and support KDE for the long run!
Today’s 3 new apps are:
Kid3 - tag all the things! Or at least all your music. Kid 3 provides you with the easiest and fastest way to grab song titles, album data, covers, and so on off of the Internet.
Krusader - manage your files and folders as old fogeys used to, with a classic two-pane browser. Because sometimes some things do not need improving.
Yakuake - Keep your terminal always handy with Yakuake. Just press [F12] and have a full-featured terminal windows pull down from the top of your window.

Yakuake is great! One of the first things I install on a new system.
Lately I keep thnking though if this could be generalized as a KWin feature.
Something like “Move to Drawer” in the window menu which would allow a user to make any window into something that would slide out (from any of the edges).
Asides from shortcuts this could then also be combined with global gestures, e.g. swiping down to “pull Yakuake out”.
Wonder if KWin can already do that in Plasma Mobile
