Akregator no longer uses symbolic tray icon

After 6.3 update Akregator uses its default tray icon:

Before the update it used the symbolic one:

I looked for a change in the app repo, but there’s no corresponding MR.


Also, one of the icons in the Kickoff looks out of place.
That is also after the 6.3 update:

None custom icon packs have been installed previously.

Hi - it looks like you’re running into the following bug: 500102 – Regression: systray takes non-symbolic icons despite the new feature should do the exact opposite

Looking in the Akregator repository was a good idea - however, in this case, the relevant change was in the System Tray applet within Plasma itself, a level further up in the “stack” of code :slight_smile:
