Amarok 3.0 beta (2.9.82) out now!

Great! Just one silly question: shouldn’t the browser buttons resemble like other Plasma applications, let’s say Kate, with no border until hovering the mouse?

Hmm, yes, very good question; at least resemble a bit more.
The border is there on my both systems, too (KF5 and KF6), but e.g. the button background colour matches normal system colours. I’m able to get some similar strangeness in UI when starting amarok --platformtheme gtk2 (although a bit more broken that way) so I wonder if there might be a different theme setting used by Qt5/KF5 and Qt6/KF6 applications on your system that causes the differences.

I believe as long as such problems are not common (at least I haven’t yet received notifications of other people experiencing similar issues) and text is still readable everywhere, I won’t spend much effort in investigating and fixing those now, as they will probably get fixed when everything’s ported to Qt6/KF6.

Just noticed some other color glitches in “Current track” widget, in breeze dark

Ah, thank you for notifying! I’ll apply the same text colour fix to those labels, too.
EDIT: Fix for this now available in git master.

Hahaha
