[amarok] Add support for SQLite

Hello, can someone put me in touch with someone that can help me review a branch I have to add support for SQLite in amarok? Some of us would love to NOT have to depend on MySql / MariaDB to use amarok

That’s where you can reach amarok contributors.

github is just a mirror for KDE software.

Hi @mrp @meven – thank you, the merge request is in the amarok repo – happy to provide all information needed (like used DeepSeek / Qwen for some of the DEV, copyright, etc), but what I am really asking is help in reviewing and make further changes to the collections backend. Can we bring the conversation to the merge request and get some guidance?

I was a big user of amarok in KDE3/4, and would love to get it working without depending on MySql / MariaDB – also, if I can make further contributions that would be amazing :slight_smile: Thanks!

I wonder if Amarok used to have support for sqlite.
