I encounter with problem, where i can’t find software that will turn my android tablet, to usable second monitor. Real case scenario: Im coming to the library, load into KDE Neon, and connect my tablet through micro-usb.
Android tablet is kinda old, Android 6.0. But it rooted, and have usb debug. Tried today to use VNC, but failed. And it anyways was CLI so. Deskreen doesn’t fit, because it only works with local network. In this situation, i have to use wired connection.
If i can write a script, that will setup additional monitor without troibles, we can close this topic. But seeing that i have to bind virtual screen to “one of the ports” that doesn’t exist for unknown reason on my main PC. It will be almost impossible to have persistent work of the script.
Any suggestions? I used X Wired Display, and it worked flawlessly
