[Angelfish] Password Manager

I’m willing to pay $50AUD (Australian dollars or dollarbucks if you watch Bluey) to anyone who implements this. Falkon already has this, so perhaps utilising their code and/or improving on it.

There is potentially an extra $50AUD available if it can be synchronised between devices easily. Whether that is via Nextcloud or some account sync service like Firefox has. This feature would need discussion with me before I am willing to commit, so feel free to ping me here or on Matrix (@justin.zobel:kde.org) to discuss.

Edit: Must have a PayPal account to receive the funds.

Might you be familiar with the implementation of this in Falkon? If so my followup would be is it just a matter of porting it over to Angelfish or does it have to be written from scratch?

By port I mean copy the code over to Angelfish code base and fix any issues that appear when trying to build/run.

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Yes.

My requirements would be:

Base

  • Porting the password manager database/code (only KWallet backend desired, if others want to port the Database options that can be done later)

Functionality (same as in Falkon)

  • A password manager in the settings (with import/export)
  • Autocompletes username/password field
  • The Toolbar button:
    • Desktop Mode (always there)
    • Mobile Mode (on if users toggle it, see screenshot below)
