Skrooge has functions to edit Payees such as to combine similar ones by drag-and-drop, and I can see the list of all Payees and edit the list directly (which will update any associated transactions).
A long while ago, an old import error resulted in a lot of noisy junk in the Modes field of transactions. I would like to clean up the Modes the way I can with Payees. Any suggestions? Or even practical workarounds?
Basically, I want to delete erroneous mode entries from all the places in years of history where they show up. I’d rather empty mode than noisy wrong entries (which make it harder to auto-fill modes in new entries).
