Any way to stop the Slip tool from affecting effect keyframes?

I used to only fiddle with the start and end of my clips to shift the frames before discovering the Slip tool. But it’s practically useless to me personally because it also moves all of the effect keyframes with it and if I’m not careful I lose minutes of progress either having to input all of the keyframes back in or undoing everything up to when I used the Slip tool.

At least when not using the Slip tool and only dragging the clip’s start edge or end edge the keyframes are squished/clamped to the inside of the resulting clip. With the Slip tool they can go off the screen completely depending on how much and in which direction I slip the clip.

Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone suggest anything?

I’m on version 26.04.3

Good point. I’m also wondering if there’s a workaround for this ?

The most obvious but manual workaround I can think of is to copy the effects, slip your clip, delete the clip’s effects, and repaste the effects back onto the clip.
