I am have a strange issue. Often (always?) when my screen turns off, due to a keyboard short cut, time out, or even with kscreen-doctor --dpms off, My computer will switch apps and desktops to the one with aseprite on it. This is annoying as I tend to leave the app open. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?
“No KScreen backend found” means KScreen isn’t loading correctly. Repair the matching KScreen package, then log out and back in. In Window Management → Window Rules, check for an Aseprite rule that forces Desktop, Activity, or Focus. Remove it or set those options to “Do Not Affect,” then test DPMS again.
Where would I be seeing ‘No KScreen backend found’
Asked on the Aseprite forums and the solution is to update the app.
